Download the Kiva Hot Yoga app, create an account and sign up for class!
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class. We do not allow people to enter once class has started.
Bring your mat, water bottle and towel with you (beach or shower towel also works!). These are also available for purchase or rent.
Drink 3-4 liters of water each day you practice in the hot room. Drink throughout the day, not just right before class! Depending on the time of the class, it can be more beneficial to hydrate the night before class.
Try to avoid eating about 2 hours before class – yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach.
Leave electronics and personal items in the locker room.
Front doors lock at the beginning of class.
Always enter and exit the hot room quietly to respect others’ meditation, and save conversations for the lobby.
Have fun, give yourself grace & remember to breathe!
Yoga is most effective when you practice at least 3 times a week.
After practice:
Hydrate and fuel your body!
Schedule your next class – try to get back in the hot room as soon as possible! Coming the next day will help work out any soreness you may feel.
Let go of any expectations you may have had before class and appreciate your body for all it can do now.
